Ancopir ist eine hochdosierte Kombination von B-Vitaminen. Vitamin B1 ist ein Bestandteil vieler Enzyme, welche den Kohlenhydratstoffwechselsteuern. Vitamin-B6 ist ein Bestandteil jener Enzyme, welche vor allem dem Auf- und dem Abbau von Körpereiweiß dienen, von dem unter anderem Aufbau, Erhalt und Leistungsvermögen von Gehirn, Nervensystem und Muskulatur abhängen. Vitamin B12 ist am Auf- und Abbau lebenswichtiger Stoffe beteiligt, Mangelerscheinungen sind Blutarmut und manchmal Funktionsstörungen des Nervensystems.
Ihr Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin verschreibt Ihnen Ancopir
-bei Nervenentzündungen hervorgerufen durch Mangel an Vitamin B1, B6 und B12 oder Stoffwechselstörungen
-als Begleitbehandlung bei Nervenschmerzen, Ischias, Lumbago
-bei chronischen Vergiftungen, insbesondere durch Alkohol
-als Begleitbehandlung bei Bestrahlungen.
Falls Sie eine Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber Vitamin B1, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 oder einen anderen Inhaltsstoff aufweisen, sollten Sie Ancopir nicht einnehmen. Das Arzneimittel darf bei Patienten und Patientinnen, die an Psoriasis leiden, nicht angewendet werden. Parkinson-Patienten und - Patientinnen sollten immer ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin fragen, bevor sie Ancopir oder ein anderes Präparat einnehmen, das Vitamin B6 enthält. Dies gilt ganz besonders für Patienten und Patientinnen, die Levodopa (Parkinson-Arzneimittel) einnehmen. Da keine Erfahrung bei Kindern vorliegt, sollte Ancopir von Kindern nicht eingenommen werden.
Vitamin B6 in hoher Dosierung, wie es in Ancopir enthalten ist, kann die Wirkung von Levodopa bei Parkinson abschwächen. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst-gekaufte) einnehmen oder äußerlich anwenden!
Während der Schwangerschaft oder der Stillzeit sollten Sie Ancopir nur auf ausdrückliche Anordnung Ihres Arztes oder Ihrer Ärztin einnehmen.
Falls von Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin nicht anders verordnet, nehmen Sie 1-2 Dragées täglich, unzerkaut mit etwas Flüssigkeit. Die Einnahme soll zu oder nach einer Mahlzeit erfolgen. Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme oder Anwendung von Ancopir auftreten:
Die tägliche Einnahme überhöhter Dosen kann in seltenen Fällen zu Nervenschädigungen führen. Deshalb sollten Sie die Dosierungsrichtlinien strikt einhalten. Ancopir kann eine bestehende Akne verschlimmern. Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Arzneimittel vor Kindern geschützt, trocken und bei Raumtemperatur (15-25°C) aufbewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «Exp» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin. Diese Personen verfügen über die ausführliche Fachinformation.
