Mycolog N enthält als Wirkstoffe Fluocinonid, ein Glukokortikoid (Nebennierenrindenhormon), die Antibiotika Neomycin und Gramicidin sowie das gegen bestimmte Pilze wirksame Nystatin. Mycolog N ist angezeigt bei entzündlichen, juckenden und allergischen Hauterkrankungen mit nachgewiesener oder vermuteter Infektion durch Bakterien und/oder Hefepilze, speziell Candida. Mycolog N ist auf Verschreibung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin anzuwenden.
Mycolog N Creme eignet sich besonders im akuten und subakuten Stadium, bei nässenden Hautprozessen sowie bei fettigem Hautzustand.
Die wasserfreie, fetthaltige Mycolog N Salbe eignet sich vorzugsweise bei chronischen und trockenen Hautprozessen.
Mycolog N darf bei tuberkulösen und syphilitischen Hauterkrankungen, bei Impfreaktionen, bei bestimmten Erkrankungen im Gesicht (periorale Dermatitis, Rosacea) sowie bei Hauterkrankungen, die in erster Linie durch Pilze (Ausnahme: Hefepilze) oder Viren verursacht sind, nicht eingesetzt werden. Ebenso darf Mycolog N nicht angewendet werden bei Akne und Ulcera.
Mycolog N ist nicht für die Anwendung am Auge vorgesehen.
Mycolog N sollte nicht im Gehörgang angewendet werden.
Luftdicht abschliessende Verbände sollten nicht zur Anwendung kommen.
Mycolog N darf bei Kindern unter 4 Jahren nicht angewendet werden.
Bei erwiesener Unverträglichkeit gegenüber einem Bestandteil der Creme oder Salbe oder gegenüber Aminoglycosiden darf das entsprechende Präparat nicht angewendet werden.
Mycolog N ist ein stark wirksames Arzneimittel. Überschreiten Sie nicht die vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin vorgeschriebene Behandlungsdauer, die normalerweise bei Erwachsenen und Jugendlichen 2?3 Wochen, bei Kindern bis 1 Woche beträgt, da sich sonst Hautschäden einstellen können.
Wenn eine Hautkrankheit nicht innert einiger Tage auf die Behandlung anspricht oder sich gar verschlimmert, konsultieren Sie Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin. Teilen Sie ihm bzw. ihr ebenfalls mit, wenn Juckreiz und Rötung, Bläschen oder eine starke Verdünnung der Haut und Verletzungen auftreten.
Eine grossflächige Anwendung sowie eine Anwendung auf verstärkt resorbierenden Hautarealen (offene Wunden, geschädigte Haut, intertriginöse Bereiche (Hautfalten), in Gelenkbeugen sowie zwischen den Fingern bzw. Zehen, Haut/Schleimhautgrenzen, um die Augen herum) ist zu vermeiden.
Verwenden Sie Mycolog N nur für Ihr jetziges Hautleiden, für das der Arzt bzw. die Ärztin es Ihnen verschrieben hat, nicht aber für andere spätere Hautleiden. Geben Sie Mycolog N nicht an andere Personen weiter.
Bei der Behandlung grösserer Körperflächen oder der Langzeitbehandlung sind gegebenenfalls Vorsichtsmassnahmen zu beachten. Befolgen Sie die entsprechenden Anweisungen des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin.
Informieren Sie auch Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
Wenn Sie schwanger sind, es werden möchten oder stillen, sollten Sie Mycolog N ausschliesslich nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt bzw. der Ärztin anwenden.
Mycolog N wird, soweit nicht anders verordnet, 1?3-mal täglich dünn auf die betroffenen Hautgebiete aufgetragen und ? wenn möglich ? leicht einmassiert.
Über die Grösse des zu behandelnden Hautareals sowie über gegebenenfalls zu beachtende Vorsichtsmassnahmen, besonders bei grossflächiger Applikation entscheidet der Arzt oder die Ärztin.
Die Dauer der Behandlung richtet sich nach dem Therapieerfolg und beträgt in der Regel nicht mehr als 2?3 Wochen.
Bei Kindern über 4 Jahren sollte Mycolog N nur kurzfristig (bis 1 Woche) und kleinflächig (unter 10% der Körperoberfläche) angewendet werden. Bei Kindern unter 4 Jahren wird die Anwendung nicht empfohlen.
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Mycolog N auftreten:
Selten: Lokale unerwünschte Wirkungen wie Reizungen der Haut, Brennen, Jucken und Trockenheit sowie Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen können auftreten. Bei äusserlicher Anwendung von Mycolog N auf grossen Flächen und/oder über längere Zeit sind folgende örtliche Nebenwirkungen beschrieben worden: Reizerscheinungen, Haarfollikelentzündungen (Follikulitis), vermehrter und verstärkter Haarwuchs (Hypertrichosis), Akne, Abnahme der Hautpigmentierung, entzündliche Hautreaktionen in der Oberlippen- und Kinnregion (periorale Dermatitis), allergisch bedingte Hautentzündungen (Kontaktdermatitis), Aufweichen (Mazeration) der Haut, Dünnerwerden (Atrophie) der Haut, Streifenbildung der Haut (Striae distensae), Erweiterung von Hautäderchen (Teleangiektasien), punktförmige Hautblutungen (Purpura), Bläschenbildung auf der Haut (Miliaria). Weiterhin wurden Störungen im Hormonhaushalt durch Aufnahme des Wirkstoffes durch die Haut beobachtet.
Bei Kleinkindern ist zu beachten, dass die Aufnahmefähigkeit durch die Haut erhöht ist und Wachstumsstörungen bei längerer Anwendung auftreten können.
